To Prevent Kids From Choking, insist that they eat slowly while sitting down and chew food well. Also, clut food into 1/2 inch pieces or thin, short strips, and remove seeds and pits from fruit.
Make sure to watch your kids while they eat, when they are young. Here Are The Culprits!
Round, Pliable Foods: hot dogs, sausages, chunks of meet cheese whole grapes
Firm Foods: hard candy, raw vegetables (such as carrots) and raw fruit chunks (such as apple pieces)
Hard To Chew Foods: nuts, seeds and popcorn
Sticky Foods: marshmallows, peanut butter chunks, chewy candy and gum
